# Anchor Terminal

> The benchmark, directory and review layer for everything AI agents run on. Built for agents first, independent. Scores out of 100 and grades AA to F for model APIs, open-weight models, agent frameworks, MCP servers, HTTP APIs, data providers, scraping tools and payment protocols, with the legal entity, domain age and documents behind each one checked and published. Every page has a Markdown twin (append `.md` to the URL, or send `Accept: text/markdown`) and a slim twin with the same facts and less prose (append `.min.md`, or `Accept: text/markdown;profile=slim`). Each twin states its own token count. Every page also has a JSON twin (append `.json`, `index.json` for a directory, or send `Accept: application/json`) with the page's facts as data. The directory is JSON under `/api/v1/`, and live data (uptime, latency, releases, what changed) is under `/api/v1/live/` and `/api/v1/changes.json`. Agents: discovery needs no human. Prices in comparable units are at /prices/, every dated shutdown and breaking change at /sunsets/ (calendar /sunsets.ics), and the tools that can be paid per call without an account under /x402/. No HTTP at all (a sandbox where names still resolve): `dig +short TXT <slug>.grade.anchorterminal.com` is the grade, `top.`, `best.<category>.` and `<a>.vs.<b>.` under the same zone, and the same under grade.letme.dev (/agents/#dns).

Data status: October 2026 research run (methodology v0.7, run 2026-10-01). Scores come from public evidence against the checklist at https://www.anchorterminal.com/benchmark/, with the reason and sources for each one on the listing (JSON `anchor.assessment`). Performance and Task success are pending until our probes and task suites run, so their weight is shared across the rest. Panel reviews are desk reviews, written from public material with no calls made. Our own products (LocalGhost, Mumble and letme) carry `own: true`. They're graded with a disclosure under the conflict rule (https://www.anchorterminal.com/benchmark/#own), graded and reviewed like every listing, and never picked by letme.
